What's your favorite Mobile Home manufacturer?

I have access to many of vacant lots here in Nevada and am looking for a mobile home manufacturer that works with investors.  Anybody have good recommendations?

You can do a Google search to find all the manufacturers.  There are new ones coming out every year with a specialized product or target customer niche. With that said, the common names you will come across in the industry will be Clayton, Champion, Cavco, Fleetwood, and the list goes on.  Each manufacturer is a little different and the value will align with the product. Some focus on affordability and some focus on quality or features. Some have a 90 day delivery time horizon and some are 6-9 months out.  Unless you are a dealer, you cannot buy directly from the manufacturer. As a park owner, it makes sense for us to be a dealer, but it might not make sense for you.  Your best bet is to find the dealer/distributors in your area and "interview" them to see if they align with what you are attempting to accomplish.

@Sam Stout You may want to talk to some mobile home dealerships in your area. They may be able to help you out. I'm not sure if you're looking for new homes or used homes. Sometimes they have buyers who need to sell their used home before they can buy a new home. These are opportunities for investors who have land and/or need to fill their mobile home parks. They are still profitably when you can buy the vacant lot for cheap, do the install, then list on the MLS, for 50k profit after all is said and done.  I see many of my colleagues doing it.  It's another stream of income I would like to add to my wheelhouse...

Do you currently do mobile homes, or just getting into it?  Banks don't like things that aren't permanantly attached to the ground (at least as much as those that are).  MH also don't ride the appreciation wave like brick and mortar homes either.

Here is Florida I see them all the time on LoopNet offering them for $1-2 million dollars for the whole complex.  Seems to be they value them at about $30,000 a pad.  I don't know the business, so I just stay with brick and mortar... but curious if you have found them profitable?
