If I own a mobile home that is parked in a mobile home park in TX, do I have to pay property taxes on it? And if so, why?

@Jennifer Rysdam Yes, most definitely. If the county does not have an account for it yet, it could have been lost when the home was moved and/or title was transferred. Be sure the last address on the title records is not acquiring taxes if the mobile home has been moved and is no longer there. Usually, there is an appraiser that goes around for the county matching addresses to mobile homes to make sure taxes are paid on them. If they cannot locate the owner, they will ask around. Hope that helps!
