Hey Gang -
One of the things that we probably haven't effectively communicated with everyone is the value that you'll get from posting in our Marketplace. As such, Brandon Turner and I put together a video to help do that . . .

BiggerPockets Marketplace Video Tour

Our forums are undoubtably, the best place online for the discussion or real estate investing, but in order to keep them from getting out of control, we don't allow ads or solicitations anywhere other than the BiggerPockets Marketplace.

Why should you post in the Marketplace?
You've got a built-in community of customers, partners, property finders, financiers, and ultimately, real estate investors and other similar aficionados in the niche.

In the 8+ years that I've been running BiggerPockets, I've never met an individual or company that didn't have any needs or wants. The Markplace is where you share those needs and wants.

Some things you may want to post in the Marketplace:
- You're looking for deals
- You're looking for financing
- You're looking for partners
- You're looking for any other real estate deal, product, or service
- You've got deals you're looking to unload
- You've got cash/financing and need to put it to work
- You're promoting an event
- You're promoting your company
- You're promoting your product or service

If you don't fall into the above categories, congrats! You're a billionaire that doesn't need to be spending your time here on BiggerPockets, but we do appreciate that you are here!

Otherwise, you probably have something that you are looking for or that you're marketing . . .

What Does it Cost?
Posting in the Marketplace requires a PRO or PRO Basic account, starting at only $5/month. That's less than a cup of coffee . . .

For $5, you can post ads for all your haves and wants during a month.

If you missed it, check out our video: BiggerPockets Marketplace Video Tour

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you in the Marketplace - http://www.biggerpockets.com/marketplace

NOTE: Your Keyword Alerts will tell you when things are posted in the Marketplace (in addition to the discussion forums) that interest you . . . be sure to set those up if you haven't already.

I really like the revamped Marketplace. I didn't use the old version very much, but the new version is slick. And Brandon's got a knack for videos, he shows how easy it is to use.

One reason I like the Marketplace is how qualified the audience is. I know when I post a rental for sale that it will be seen by a good number of people who are actively looking and have cash.

I've also noticed that with keyword alerts, the traffic to my ads have jumped. These are even more narrowly qualified potential buyers. For example, some of my ads have "Dallas" as a keyword. As soon as I post a Dallas area deal, those who have selected Dallas as a keyword, get notification of my ad. Kind of like a buyers list that I didn't have to build myself.

Keyword alerts are a pretty new feature so there's lots of room for growth here. We've already seen a substantial spike in forum posting. This is great for Marketplace ads.

Josh and Brandon, thanks for your relentless drive for BP improvement!
