Hello BP community, my name is Jordan and wanted to say hello finally and also add my thanks for all the incredible information shared on this platform. About me: 24 y/o electrician who has lived in Seattle most of my life. Recently bought a house from my dad, got a decent deal but learned never do business with family. It's an older home with the basement being mostly original (68). 1600sq' 4 bedroom 1.5 bath. I am doing a full remodel downstairs and am doing the work myself. I rent out my downstairs bedroom currently. I wanted to set a lofty goal of being neutral to positive cash flow by the end of the year through increased rent downstairs after the remodel and turning my upstairs bedrooms into airbnb rentals. I have big plans for the next 5 years, I have a great great starting point and with the knowledge available from this site hope to expand with confidence.
