I Need My Edit Back!!!
Hi Josh,
I absolutely HATE this new shorter edit period!!! YUK! UGH! OUCH!
For those of us that are totally illiterate and were born with twenty thumbs instead of the normal arrangement of fingers and toes, ten minutes (or whatever it is) simply isn't enough time to repair our (my) posts. Furthermore, I don't always catch my mistake immediately, let alone fix it. Could we PLEEEEEEEZZZZZEEEEE lengthen the time available to edit posts? Wouldn't having an edit period of 48 hours still accomplish the goal? That would prevent people from essentially deleting months worth of posts and destroying many threads, but it would still allow people to edit posts that they've just recently written. If that's not possible, could you assign a full time employee to proofread my posts? Either solution would be fine!
Thanks!

We've changed the time period to 20 minutes. If that's not enough time to read through your posts after making them, I don't know that 5 hours will be.
Most sites I know only give you between 3 and 5 minutes, so I'd say the 20 minute adjustment should work fine.
Thanks for the suggestion, Mike, and I hope that works for you and the others.
Josh
