Avalanche of email ads

Wow. Since signing up for BiggerPockets, I am receiving an avalanche of email ads. Is there anyway to turn this off? It really makes me not want to sign up for a paid service!

There are settings in your account profile that control how notifications are mailed, including getting a "digest-like" bundle. Something that has already been posted under the BP site questions forum.

Now, if these emails originate from users rather than the BP site, @Joshua D. will want to get the details on that, since that could be a violation of the terms of service.
