How do you manage contractor appointments?

We set up multiple viewings at the same time for tenants. But what about contractors? They seem more reliable to show up and also deserve our undivided attention. Not to mention I don't want to waste another professionals time by watching me talk to another contractor. I am sure this varies depending on the size of the job like if you are using 1 GC or a few subs. I have been scheduling contractors 30 mins apart to the best of my ability to bid the job but sometimes I get stuck for 45 minutes in between appointments. Is that what you guys do?
