Down payment options?
Hi y'all, I live in California and am currently in the market to purchase a home. However, the percentage of a down payment on property in CA is high. I've been saving but Id really like to avoid putting 20% down if any. Of course I'd like to avoid the PMI but I have read a few articles from people who didn't put any money down. Would anyone have some suggestions on down payment options? I've done some research on FHA loans but I am seeking different routes if possible? Thanks for the help and advise, much appreciated.
