Becoming a Mortgage Broker
Hi everyone,
I am currently a loan officer/credit analyst at a fairly large bank in Mississippi. I have been in this position for 3 years and have worked on many types of loans.
I am very good at what I do, however, my pay does not reflect that. I have been looking into getting into the mortgage originator/brokerage field, but I am having a difficult time finding a place to start. I realize I will have to take the SAFE Act test, but has anyone had any experience starting this type of business from the ground up?
I appreciate any and all help! -
