Which Bank Account in Calgary?

Hi All 

We're moving to Calgary from the UK in July/August. 

I'd like to send a deposit for our primary residence to a bank in Calgary to cover the 90 days lenders require. 

My wife is a Canadian citizen, so we can open an account in her name. 

My questions are:

   1. What is the best kind of account/product for this purpose?

  2. Is there a particular bank that's best to go with?

   3. Can anyone refer a banker/financial advisor for us to talk to?

Any help would be massively appreciated!
