Looking to start a career in real estate

Hey fellow members I'm bigger pockets. I am looking to start a career in real estate. Right now I am a full-time electrician and my wife is in the army so I don't have a tremendous amount of time to spare at a moment's notice, but real estate has always been a passion of mine I've been on the bigger pockets forums and podcasts business books real estate books just obsessively studying about all of it for the last two years and I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to transition into it. I don't know where to start I don't know who to talk to I don't know if anybody would even want to hire somebody to do a real estate for them just ever so frequently but I figured that if I had any questions that this would be the number one place to go on this is my first stop.

I was in your position a year ago.  Always had a passion for real estate sales/investing.  Have a book shelf full of BP books as well as any other book I could get my hands on about real estate.

I got my license and have been in real estate full time for a month.  I own another business that I am still apart of but more of a consulting role.  I have divested myself so I can focus 100% on real estate.  I will say I've never put more time and effort into starting a business like I have with real estate.  Up and going by 5:30/6 and going to be at 10/11 with focus and intent on real estate.

I don't know how people can do it part time? If you have a conduit of leads and are in an industry that provides you with leads I think it could be possible. However if that is not available to you there is a lot of time and effort spent to start and grow your business. Making contacts, calling FSBO's, expired listings, hosting other agents open houses, joining local chambers to network, attending networking events, etc.

It's possible to do it part time, but you will have to be very creative in how you go about doing it.  Message me and I would love to discuss more about it.  I'm always open to talk about real estate.
