Exclusive or Non-Exclusive Realtors??

Cecilia Hake

Hello,

My name is Cecilia Hake and I am fairly new at real estate investing. I have invested in a program that has allowed me to go to a few different 3-day workshops. In the workshop, we were told to work with realtors who are Non-Exclusive. I am working on finding a realtor to help me through my process. I have two really good realtors who I have met with both, and I want to work with both. The problem is, they both have Exclusive contracts for me to sign.

Any advice on what I should do? Should I chose one or the other, ask them if they would consider non-exclusive, or walk away from them and find a different realtor that is non-exclusive?

Any advice would help. Thank you!

@Cecilia Hake I ran into the same problem when I first entered REI. I networked with other investors until I found a realtor that was also an investor. Understood my need for non-exclusivity in order to get creative to make deals happen. When I became a realtor I wanted to give my clients the same flexibility. It has worked well for me. Keep looking you'll find the right realtors for your team.
