Advice on letters for a new agent.

I am about to begin my career at a great brokerage in my town next week. I have about 85 people on my SOI. I was wondering what advice you might have on how I should contact them? I have had a few agents tell me to start with a hand written letter to all over them, maybe sending a picture of my newborn child and letting them also know about the great office I am currently working for. But just today I had an agent say he feels that is a mistake because it labels you as "new/ inexperienced".

Any advice on how I should contact my sphere and let them know I am now in RE?

Thanks guys!
