Question for experienced RE agents

Hello Everyone,

I'm new in town and Just getting started in Real Estate. I'm about to take the RE exam and I'm mentoring full time with a broker. I'm hot on tapping my own personal network about my upcoming career and I'm asking everyone I know for referrals. This question is meant for experienced agents (5+ years) but anyone is invited to join.

What is the ONE thing you suggest a new agent focus on with all their might starting out? If it's more than one that's fine, getting your overall mindset is the point.

Thanks ;)

Create a marketing plan and stick to it. Focus the marketing plan on your sphere and people you come into contact with. Hit everyone you know with an email once a month, then 2 weeks later with a snail mail piece, and get something physical into their hands every 4 months.

Talk to everyone you possibly can about real estate. The cashier at the store, your waiter at a restaurant...go to every party and social event and talk about real estate.

Seriously...the more I talk about real estate, and to the more people, the more money I make.
