Real Estate Agent - Wisconsin

Hello,

After scouring the internet for what seems like–and may have been–hours, I've come up mostly empty-handed in regards to clear information on the steps I need to take to become a licensed real estate agent in Wisconsin. I have taken a look at WRA.org, and found THIS, but am not sure that's exactly what I need. Secondly, if that is the course I'll need to complete, I've been unable to find clear information on where I can take the actual exam.

My confusion really stems from me asking these same questions to a friend that lives in Colorado (also seeking his license), who had very different answers from what I've found above. I understand these things can differ from state to state, but I just want to be sure I'm not wasting time or money by completing the wrong courses or exams.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
