Are Expired Listing worth Pursuing?

Happy New Year BP!

So any of you that have access to the MLS in any way or form. Have you ever worked expired listings? If so, did you have any success with that?

What is the best way to get the owners telephone number?  I know how to find their address of course, so what is your opinion on knocking the door or sending a letter?

As Always...thank you for your time and help!

Yes, expired listings are worth it!!!

Either call them up (you can find a lot of numbers on www.WhitePages.com, but not every number), or send them a direct mail sequence offering something of value, just to get them to contact you.

I never door knocked, but it would be better than sending a letter or postcard or package.

Also, search expired listings from 3 months ago, 6 months ago, a year, etc.  And then see if they ever relisted or sold.  If not, CONTACT THEM!!!  See what they're plans are.  There's a reason they were on the market and never came back on, you just need to find out the reason.

Oh, and have a rockin' New Year!
