Becoming a Property Manager

Evening BP Community, I have a question regarding property management. This question isn't  about finding property managers, which is what I usually find on BP, but  rather about becoming the property manager that everyone seems to be trying so hard to find. 

I am 20 years old, live in NYC, and am about to obtain my Real Estate License (hopefully within a month). Since I WILL have my license, and be under the supervision of a broker, I will be able to manage properties (I believe only residential properties without the commercial license).

The issue I see myself having is actually finding someone willing to let me manage their property! I will be brand new agent, and thus will have zero experience managing properties. I figured I can take courses specifically for property management, but to get the certifications, I will still need actual experience. Not to mention I am rather young, so I will have huge biases to overcome, dealing with both Property Owners, and Tenants themselves. It is however a barrier I am willing to break down.

My question is how do I go about becoming a property manager after obtaining my license. It would be nice to hear from actual property managers on their path to success. Do you suggest any particular way for me to get started? I'd also would love to hear any investors criteria or prerequisite they would need before hiring someone as fresh as me.
