Finding Real estate agent

Hello my friends . I have started my search for a real estate agent that will guide me to understand the market of the area that I live in. I recently contacted remax and Keller Williams real estate agents since it was recommended to me by a book that I am reading to contact these two companies . My question . I have asked some real estate agents to sent some MLS listings . It has been 24 hours and none of them has reached back to me . Is that a bad sign that means I have to keep Looking to find the right one ???? Or it's normal that they take that long . I appreciate your answers my friend .
