Hey all, I just got my Real Estate salesperson license recently (the main reason being to gain access to the mls to practice analyzing rentals) and I'm a little confused as to the process of getting into the MLS i have my license "hanging" at a brokerage but I'm not sure if i need to belong to a realtor association or not any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to BiggerPockets!

You'll need to get a membership with the local association of realtors.

If it's San Jose (based on your post), go to the Santa Clara Association of Realtors: https://www.sccaor.com/

I hope this helps.
