Seeking advice on becoming a commercial real estate agent

Hello BP family, here lately I have been struggling with some decisions for the future. With that being said I want to be a commercial real estate agent. I am currently working on getting my license in Texas. I have been doing some research on the field and I keep seeing how difficult it is to get into commercial real estate. So, I guess my question is should I go back to school to get my MBA in real estate or a relating field or should I just try and break into the field once I get my license? Also, can I get some advice on getting a mentor and what to expect in the field?

What kind of commercial real estate do you want to do?   There are so many specialties.

Want to do tenant rep?

Want to sell apartments, hotels, office buildings, land, development, warehouses, restaurants, retail, ranches, or probably a hundred other specialties.
