Introduction - New to Fix and Flip - California

Hi, all! My name is Todd Williams and I'm a rookie investor, just starting out in the city of Redlands, CA. I'm a full time web developer and have a background in design, and I've done two full live-in renovations (currently living in the 2nd). I'm a veteran and the VA loan has been invaluable in getting into a property here in CA since homes are so expensive.

My current goal is to do fix-and-flips with a good design aesthetic. Most of the flips I've seen in this area all look the same, grey walls, grey floors, shaker cabinets, subway tile, etc. I think it's possible to do better and command higher prices, imho. I'm also in the process of obtaining my real estate license.

Anyway, it's great to be here. :)
