Investing in Michigan- Detroit vs. Metro

Hello all,

I am new to bigger pockets and am looking to buy my first property. I really like the city of Detroit, but the market is shaky in some areas still. The market in metro areas is stronger but has a lot less inventory as well. which is a better move for multi-family home?
