Real Estate Investor CRM?

Question

What are your thoughts on CRMs for REI? Is it worth the time/cost? If you have experience with CRM, what is the best one?

@Kp Warren I built one for investors on a great platform that also has texting, email campaigns, booking calendar, funnels, and opportunity tracking built in.

Being the automation geek and REI investor, I also built some cool automations in the background to make things light and easy on the front end for my tech-averse husband, who’s is the one in the field, and even he loves it.

I’m just starting to resell it - let me know if you’d like to take a look 😎

@Kp Warren As a marketer and REI, I’ve used dozens over the years, including ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, Hubspot, Zoho, MailChimp and others.

At the end of the day, it’s the one that you use consistently that is the “best,” so we veer towards staying simple on the front end for max use, and robust in the backend to save time and close gaps, for the best results.

Hi @Kp Warren  I'm new to using a CRM, but I would say yes.  I'm using Media Shield, but have heard good things about LionDesk. I use it mainly for work as a broker, but want to carry into my investing as well.  My take is, invest the time upfront, to save all that time later.

Agreed.

When starting out, it's a good idea to have one, but I would not over-invest in one particular suite until you have a more clear idea of what you need and what you like. People are having success with each of the packages you mentioned above, and with others. It's all about what you need, what you like, and what you'll use consistently.

Thank you @Bryce DeCora, @Tiffany Youngren, @Ash Fields. I'm was initially looking at HubSpot, but i will be sure to give a close look to the one's you mentioned.

@Tiffany Youngren, I've been investing since 2008, but limited to SFR rental. I'm now branching out and looking at wholesaling and Fix/Flip as well. I'm looking at branching into Multifamily also.Anything you've learned is KEY for investor CRM capability? Just the text? or specific integrations?

The CRM is the most important part of your business if you'll be doing marketing and/ or prospecting.  I built my own from the ground up using React.js and Python Flask with a Neo4j graph database (stating that for my other tech buddies out there).  Take your time picking a CRM.  Don't skimp on the CRM you want because you think it's too expensive.

My CRM is for internal use only (not for sale... yet), but I built it to maximize the outreach I can make with SMS prospecting.  I have a 95% deliverability rate of text messages.  I have 80 phone numbers costing me a measly $16 per month and $0.0013 per outbound message.
