Looking to invest OOS in Austin Tx.

Currently living in California with the low inventory and racing to make offers has been very frustrating.  Been looking to invest OOS and was thinking why not Austin Tx.  Looking to build a team so we can finally get one under our belts.  Any pointers, referrals, or suggestions are very appreciated.

Not trying to discourage you at all - love Texas Economy, but I suggest that make sure to account for property taxes (Texas is quite high) when estimating cash flow. Interview multiple Realtors, do not go with first referral. Most realtors sell homes, you'll want an Investor Friendly Realtor - someone that owns investment properties, is familiar with REI Math and is willing to make MANY offers. Hot markets like Austin are highly competitive. Even "home" buyers lose bids. Your realtor will likely need to submit a lot of offers before one gets accepted - some realtors don't want the hassle of dealing with investors. Good luck and Happy New Year.
