Highest ROI on Renovations (Specific)
Hi all! I’m a first time investor who’s looking to purchase my first property in the next couple months.
I recently saw an article on here about Maximizing ROI on renovations, and while the article was super helpful, it got me thinking: what specific renovations have you found produce the most bang for your buck? I’ve heard some people say that you can do small things like ripping up carpet to expose the hardwood or upgrading window dressings like curtains, but are there any other smaller renovation projects that have an oversized impact on the appeal of the property to your renters? If you have any ideas that are less expensive or are DIY for someone without a ton of experience, that would be especially great!
Just in case someone has some market specific insights, I’m currently looking for properties in Lancaster, PA and Greensboro, NC!

I believe that the best bang for your buck is to concentrate on the kitchen area, bathrooms and master bathroom. A lot of times, you can just sand and paint/stain cabinets which help with appeal. Then put in some nice countertops. These are generally not too expensive and can go a long way.
