College Student Interested in learning more

I am about to finish the first semester of my sophomore year of college at a big public university in a college town. I just finished reading the Richest Man in Babylon and I discovered this Bigger Pockets rabbit hole. I am the type of person that if I am passionate about something I will go all out. However, I suffer from analysis paralysis.

My current situation: I have more free time since all my classes are online now, and I would
like to channel it into something that is not a time waster like video
games. I have about 10k saved up and I started to save most of what I make: around 1000/month
from my job. I have kept good grades (4.0) with hopes of getting a decent entry level job. I am living in a shared apartment with a few friends. We are all looking for a house to move in for our junior / senior year. I was thinking of finding a house to buy and renting it out to them while I sleep on the couch. I have many friends that are looking for a place to live. I have about 7-8 months before I move out of here so I have until then to learn how to do it. I think that is a pretty reasonable goal I just need to not waste my time learning stuff that I don't need. I guess my question is: What would be most beneficial thing for me to focus on for me right now? What is the next book I should read? I was just wondering if anyone had any beginners advice specific to my situation.

Books next on my list: Investing in Real Estate with zero money down, The House Hacking Strategy.

Thank you,
Sorry if this isn't the correct forum, this is my first BP post.

Hi @Account Closed,

The number one book I would recommend getting is Profit First by Mike Michalowicz.

Without any financial literacy, it tells you how to manage the finances of your properties and business.

I'd also recommend Gary Keller's The Millionaire Real Estate Investor because of the practical tips offered in the book.

Good luck to you on your journey!
