NYC Native Looking to House Hack First Home

Hi friends!

I am new to BP forums, but I've been watching the BP YouTube channel for a while. I am a life long New Yorker and I am looking to start my real estate investment journey with a house hack. I suspect that my purchase will take place late next year (unless a better opportunity presents itself) and I am looking in Jersey City, Queens, Bronx and Long Island.

My goal from posting in this forum is to begin building relationships with local investors, realtors, and general contractors. I am someone who is eager to learn and quick to absorb new things.

Hey @Eric James feel free to reach out to me.  I bought a 3-family house hack in the Bronx a few years ago. Yes prices have risen, but so have rents (even with concessions/vacancy climbing in Manhattan, rents are still too high for certain demographics that can better afford to live in the boroughs).  But there's a lot could say/cover and I think it's better to just talk lol.  Message me and we can set up a day!
