My parents are in contract on a townhome in Sarasota florida, I'm wondering if there are any Real estate investors down there, I am from NYC, Brooklyn.. I've tried wholesaling and being an agent for the past 2 years but no deals, I am just wondering how is the market down there for an investor as far as creating passive income.

Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated!

Sarasota is a good spot to invest, but you have to know which areas are too saturated with deals and which are open. I have a team down there now and I lived there for 7 years and did some flips then. There are a lot of cash deals going on so you have to find the spots where the metrics are better or where you can compete if you don't have an excess of cash.
