New agent recommendations

I just passed the state exam and I'm looking for a broker. So far I've spoken to brokers at Watson and Keller Williams and both told me it's impossible to be a part-time agent. Anyone have broker recommendations for a new agent looking to go full time asap but keeping their day job for now? Looking for a place a little more positive and encouraging. I understand the pitfalls of being part-time but I have a lot of time to dedicate to getting going. 

Im also a newbie investor so a place that's supportive of that would be great as well.
