benefits of mentorship
My mentor has over 300 multi units in his control, raised millions of dollars, and close to a decade of investing experience.
I have spent around $10k in mentoring in the last few months. At first I was scared to spend that much money in investing. However, if it wasn't for my mentor I might have bought a 22 unit apartment for $1.4m when it is only worth $400k. When you take into consideration all of the 10 years of knowledge and experience that I learned in 3 months the $10k seems like a bargain.
Additionally, I am able to leverage my mentor's brokers, bankers, etc. I am able catapult myself past seasoned investors my "rookie year".
If you don't have $10k to pay for mentoring ask yourself what else can you do to add value to a mentor's life in exchange for mentorship.
In closing, if you never workout before and you started lifting heavy weights from the get go you'll probably hurt yourself. In that situation, it would be smart to consider hiring a personal trainer to guide you.
