House hacking rules?

Kyle Muilman
Posted

I am excited to be starting my career in real estate investing through house hacking in the next few months! I will be building a 5 bedroom house in North Austin/ Round Rock TX area and renting out by the room to young professionals. I know that depending on the specific area there can be some laws or rules that could hinder this endeavor and want to make sure that I am free and clear before I get started. Does anyone know where all I should look to make sure that I am doing everything by the book and do not get into any trouble?
