Exporting Property Data From MLS/Zillow

Hi Everyone,

My girlfriend and I are new to real estate investing. We are trying to absorb as much information as possible regarding different real estate investing strategies and the ways to identify a good deal vs. a bad deal before we move back to Michigan this summer and start looking to purchase property. My question is, is it possible to export large amounts of property-level information to import into Excel or a standard database? My thought process is that this would be a convenient way to sort properties according to the “2% Rule” (ratio of monthly rent to property value) or other metrics to easily narrow down property searches by city, zip code, etc. Has anyone ever heard of or done something like this?

Thanks,

Jordan
