How to start investing

First post here! I'm barely starting to think about thinking about real estate investing. I own a piece of land in a developing subdivision and a single family 3 bed 2 bath home free and clear. I have no money saved so far but have 100% equity in my house. What would you recommend should be my first step into real estate investing?
