Investing from abroad

Hey everyone! I am a new BP member and also new to real estate investing. I am 26 years old and live abroad 6 months out of the year. I was wondering if there were any other BP members that invest while abroad that could give this newbie some advice! I just finished reading David's book on long-distance investing and I am super eager to begin (I honestly don't want to wait until I get back stateside). I have a about $40,000 saved and I am hoping to use the BRRRR method! Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated!

Hi @Kaitlin Ray and @Martin Taylor, this is my wheelhouse! While my husband and I were stationed overseas we were going through the same predicament. We wanted to invest in real estate in the US, but couldn't find a lot of options. I was able to do this, but it was a rough road to do on my own.
