CA Attorneys who have obtained their broker/agent license

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if any attorneys who have their real estate license could give me some guidance. I am awaiting my results for the Ca bar exam (fingers crossed), and I understand that if you pass the bar, then you are exempt from taking the college level courses for the real estate license exam.

However, you are still required to have 2 years of salesperson experience, or working intellect estate law.

I hope to be able to practice real estate law soon, but currently the firm I work out does not do real estate. My question is, what would be the best way for me to get this sales person experience? I have zero experience in real estate but I am very eager to learn and do whatever is necessary to start understanding the industry.

Any advice/thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Tariq
