Real Esate License (pros&cons)?

Question

Hey there! New to all this and literally am just moving towards gathering knowledge about rentals, flips etc. Trying to figure where to start and what would be a good start. I currently live in New Hampshire and of anyone has advice on this state that would be a plus too. But all advice is welcome. I’m pondering the idea of multi-families and rentals first.

I want to know whether or not a Real Esate license is worth getting just starting out or if I should go down another avenue first.

What are the pros and cons?

I would say the pros of having your license outweigh the cons because it represents additional revenue streams for your business and of course full access to comps etc. Feel free to reach out, I'm happy to share and help out where appropriate. Good luck with your new journey!

Hello!

I am a licensed agent out of Portsmouth, NH. I think that there are definitely pros and cons to having a real estate license. It depends on your goals. Being an agent myself, I work with investors that believe the value I provide is worth it for them not to go through the hassle of getting their own license. However, I have others that don't think agents will be around in twenty years.
