Glasgow or Edinburgh real estate investors

Hi guys! My name is Kyle Trotman, I’m 24 and I am new to real estate investing. I have been living in Connecticut for over 20 years but I am now living in Glasgow, Scotland. 

I have a question if anyone can help me. I am at a real estate investment class but I don’t feel it is necessary to pay $40,000 for training with a “guru.”

I’m just looking to see if anyone is currently investing in the Glasgow, Edinburgh, or anywhere in Scotland and wanted to have a cup of tea or coffee and chat about some real estate? 

Also there are real estate investing clubs here but they cost a charge per session or an annual charge of £200. Is this normal among REIA's?

Any help would be awesome and I look forward to interacting with you guys! (And don’t worry Josh and Brandon, I’ll get a picture up!)
