Passive income suggestions leveraging backyard land

Yonas Yemane
Posted

We are considering subdividing our land in pursuit of potential passive income. We've confirmed that our property is eligible for subdivision and we have an initial idea of what/where we want divided. The next step would be to survey the property and submit the necessary applications (preliminarily short plat).

Prior to moving forward I wanted to leverage this community and gather any suggestions, feedback, or ideas on potential different passive income approaches with the land that we own. Specifically, evaluating the lot, ways you would divide it, things that you would build that could generate passive income, etc.

Below is an image of our home and the property including a design of the planned division.

Thanks in advance!
