Beginning my rei journey

The purpose of this post is to express my gratitude to the bigger pockets community and introduce myself a bit. I am a real estate agent in Salt Lake City Utah and have been following bigger pockets for the last year or so. I work full time in addition to being a real estate agent and plan on keeping both professions going while beginning me rei journey. I recently sold my bachelor pad condo (great for bacheloring, poor investment) and plan on purchasing a multi family property in Ogden Utah in the next 3 months. I will be moving to Manhattan in the spring of 2019 to live with my cousin, whose family is in the commercial real estate business (gfpre.com if you want to see a crazy portfolio). The stories that I see here on bigger pockets inspire me daily and I can only hope to give back as much as I have received from the wonderful people in this network. Bigger pockets has completely changed my life and I plan on using the lessons I have learned here to change my family’s lives as well. Thank you all! 🏠

Welcome to BP @Liam Thomas!!! The BP community has taught me literally everything I know as well and has provided a wealth of knowledge over the years. I'm currently in the MFR space owning a couple apartments down in Macon, Ga and currently in the process of analyzing and looking at as many Apartment Communities as I can for my first syndication deal, so if you ever need help with the analysis side let me know. I've built a financial model (example on my website) that I personally use and help investors analyze smaller SFRs to the larger multi million apartments communities.
