handshake partner not consistent

I have a 'handshake' partner (attorney firm) who is inconsistent with emailing. I correspond through the paralegal. Three days ago, she said to call her at night to discuss ways to find short sales; she ended up not able to pick up the phone. She did call me the morning after apologizing and to email her that day. I did email her. I haven't received an email response.

Is this someone you would work with?
