How big of an investment area?
Ok, I have heard many people say "learn one area, and stick to that area". I was just wondering how big of an area I should focus on and "learn like the back of my hand". I have heard people say learn one neighborhood, yet this seems really small. Typical neighborhoods around me only have a few hundred houses. Thanks for any responses.

I would say that the size of the neighborhood is determined by your ability to learn the market in that area. The better you know your market the easier it becomes to know where to buy, how much a property is worth, who is buying or not buying and the demographics of an area.
If you are a one person show you will be more limited than someone that can have a staff of people.
