Hello BP! I'm starting on my first deal ever and I'm super excited!! It's a fix to rent duplex in Indianapolis. I have setup the LLC with my partner and we're beginning work on the demo. What kind of insurance do we need during the rehab process? do you have any recommendations for affordable companies who specialize in this kind of thing? Please let me know. Thank you in advance!

If the renovations are not too extensive and you expect to have a tenant in there in a few weeks, landlord insurance might be adequate.  If the renovations are more complex or time consuming you'll want empty house or builder's risk insurance until you get those completed.  Try an independent insurance agent in your area and discuss your situation with them.
