House deals that are in a Trust?

Hello!

I recently went around a couple neighbors near my location and have found some houses which look to be in the need of some love, after coming home i found out there was a strip of 3 properties all along the road and did research. The original owner has passed, but they are now in a Trust. I guess im at this point should I send a letter to the tax address to see if they would consider selling? one of the properties under the trust is listed as the tax address. Thoughts? Red Flags? any input is appreciated, or how you would approach this type of situation. I drove past the main address and it is an amazing well keep house, but i did notice it had quite the looking winnebago in the drive way. im thinking of just mailing them direct mail letter seeing if they are interested in selling, anyone have any insight or info that would be a red flag for the trust?

Thanks for any insight/ advice ahead of time.
