Insurance - Brand new to the field

Hi everyone.

We are in the process of purchasing a relatively move-in ready three family in Massachusetts. As I'm preparing for this, I'm wondering what advice people have on home insurance--best companies they've found, or things I should be sure to note when I'm comparing plans? This is our first property. My partner is a contractor, so he and most of his family (electricians, HVAC specialists) will be doing updates to the property, if that's helpful information. It will be an owner-occupied investment, and the other two units are already rented out.

Any advice anyone has would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Deanna
