Hi BP! My name is Kunal and I'm super excited to join this community. I've been listening to the podcast, among other RE podcasts, and it's definitely time I take the next leap... As a quick intro, I was born and raised in central NJ, traveled in-state for sports, went to Michigan State (Go Green!), worked in finance and technology for 10ish years and then joined a tech start up to build it from the ground......up. That's been my life for the past 4 years but I'm ready to do more! In looking at my network, I have a weird amount of friends in RE, who will be mentors and potential investors for me (luckily). I'm planning to make my first deal this year (2017), preferably a small multi-family (2-3 units). I have some capital and have access to a lot of investors, and so my focus will be around structuring deals with minimal personal investment (and more sweat equity). I would absolutely love to connect with brokers, investors and/or anyone who has tips on how to get their first deal started in the Metro-NYC (specifically NJ) area. Look forward to getting to know this community!
