Hello BP world! So I'm looking into buying my first home. I live in Denver Colorado any advice or recommendation on how to start out? Like what banks to go with for a loan and what to watch out for. I've also been thinking if I should get my real estate license to see if that could help me out.

@Jose Hernandez First of all welcome. There is a wealth of information here. My suggestion would be to determine if this home is going to also be an investment or just a home and a place to live. If you want it to be an investment, then start reading here. Do some keyword searches and read the forum posts about that come up. You have to have some money to start. Perhaps not as much as you would think but at least some money. Find an agent that specializes in 1st time buyers and let them hold you hand through the process. If you want to be more hands on, find a mortgage broker (not a bank) that specializes in first time buyers and get qualified to figure out how much you can afford. Some brokers hold first time home buyer classes. Find one of those and attend it.
