ready to take next step, guidance needed.

Hello everyone. I can't believe it's been over a year since I introduced myself to BP.  I never took it to step 1, jumping in. I just got outsourced and my 401k will be available to use for investing. I don't have much in it, but could help with small investments. I would like guidance to see how I can use my 401k to get me started. I'm open to all types of investments. Thanks

If by outsourced you mean terminated your first step is to seek employment. I would not do anything until you have a new steady income well established.

After that it depends on how much money you have and what your interests and skills are.
