As a newbie investor I had to learn the hard way. I was excited, motivated and ready to reach my goals.  However, sometimes things don't go as you plan them. Live and learn. I have learned a tremendous amount from this experience. So be careful out there.

Never enter a partnership unless you control the money.  I learned that the hard way too.  :-(  Better yet, don't enter partnerships.
