Good afternoon BP,

I wanted to start a thread with the hopes of starting a dialog with real estate agents, wholesalers, investors, or anyone familiar with the greater Detroit market.  By December of next year I plan on moving to Michigan and will likely be living in one of the surrounds suburbs of Detroit.  I currently own no property but would like that to change sooner rather than later.  I just need the right tools and especially the knowledge in order to succeed.

Being that I am new to REI and know that I will be moving to that area in the near future, I figured I would try to educate myself the best I can so I can hit the ground running once I move. I would like to focus on 2 types of investments, buy and hold and multifamily. I understand that they are vastly different, but those are going to be my main focus.

I have some pretty lofty goals, but am excited to start my journey.  If anyone has any good book recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it.  Hope to hear from you all soon!

Cheers
