Local Mentors

Hi everyone!

I am interested in getting to know some local investor mentors in the San Antonio area. I am interested in wholesaling, flipping, rentals, etc. I've read some real estate books, articles, just completed a training module, listen to BP podcasts, yet I have no experience. Someone recommend this site to me and I am looking forward to meeting and attending local networking groups in the San Antonio area.

I am currently in another field but have always wanted to get into real estate investing. My goal is to get out of Corporate America, have more time for my passions (real estate & yoga), grow as much as I can in every area of my life, have control and complete freedom of my life.

Being brand new, does anyone out there have any advice on where exactly where to start? Are there any other rookies out there like me? :) Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
